Chitty Language is a Creole

When a pidgin language became the native language of a community, then it is considered as creole.

It is when the language becomes the main language whereby the number of speakers increased thus, the children will also use it as their main language.

It should be noted that Chitty Language is not a dialect but it is a language of its own.

In the beginning, Chitty language is considered as a pidgin because it exists as a tool for other traders to communicate as they speak different languages (lingua-franca).

Moreover, the grammar and vocabulary structure of Chitty language expand with some adaptation from Tamil, and in terms of phonology and pronunciation it maintains the style of Malay Language.
